" I had never planned to join scouting. Actually, when I started it was to play in the band, but then I started to enjoy the program. When I was invited to sit in on a meeting just see what it was about and heard about a trip to Washington D.C., I thought it would be a fun experience. I had never gone camping before, but I went anyway and I had the time of my life. I met some of the boys who I have become friends with, have done lots of camping, had fun adventures, learned to ski, and learned many skills while earning badges and moving up in rank. I am about to start my Eagle Scout Project and am very glad that I did join Boy Scouts."
